Description of Work

Tonco Building Services is currently involved in an extensive remediation project for a beachfront 6-unit apartment block located in Tamarama, in compliance with the Design and Building Practitioner Act 2020, to enhance structural integrity, aesthetics, and functionality. Key upgrades include a robust waterproofing system to prevent water ingress, installation
of a durable Verispave tiling system on balconies for improved slip resistance and drainage, and replacement of existing glass balustrades to enhance safety and appearance.
Additionally, all windows and doors will be upgraded to energy-efficient models for better thermal performance, while the building's exterior will be painted with weatherresistant
paint for lasting protection. New downpipes will also be installed to improve stormwater management and reduce the risk of water damage.
